What is a Marketing Funnel

Apr 6

What exactly is a channel for marketing? And why should an online marketer need one?

It's a marketing strategy that you employ to convince prospective customers to purchase your products. It's a selling process that allows someone to browse your website in search of information that can solve their issue. With certain tools you will be able to learn to build a relationship and build trust with each visitor.

This will allow you to better be aware of the needs of each visitor. This in turn will push you to offer the most accurate possible information for all visitors. The visitor is more comfortable buying your product when you have earned their trust. The customer becomes the visitor.

At some point the majority of customers become extremely loyal clients who are ready to buy any product that your website promotes. A marketing funnel outlines the steps involved in turning a visitor to your site into a client who will return to you for future purchases.

This is the main goal of any internet marketer. This is possible by using a funnel that is well-designed.

You've got the marketing tools to grab people's interest and draw them into the funnel. Once they complete the PERSONAL questionnaire, they will be automatically entered into the funnel. I say "personal" because nobody is going to opt in to your lead capture for business page. They want to become a leader, and not a company.

The page for lead capture is where they enter the funnel. If they click on the "Sign up now" or "Enter here" buttons, they will be able to access a whole new world of network marketing.

It is their choice. It is their decision. You've not offered anything other than that you're a leader, mentor and someone who will show them how to increase leads and also more cash into their business.

This is the way a typical funnel works.

You can provide an item for free to the "front-end" to draw and qualifie people interested in your offerings. Sign-up is required to get the product for free.

Now, you have these contacts on your email and you can offer them similar promotions that may be of interest to them.

After signing up for the offer, they'll be taken to a page that offers a low price or, as it's known, the tripwire offer. This is the moment they will be taken to the "back side" of your funnel.

If they purchase the bargain priced offer then they'll be taken to a different offer at a higher price (normally known as an upsell). If the person buys the more expensive offer, they will be transferred to a different product that is priced higher. This process can continue for several more.
